She/he focuses on social change and development, social cohesion, and empowering and liberating people. She/he starts a purposeful cyclical process in dialogue with stakeholders. The bachelor gathers and interprets relevant data from diverse sources, uses knowledge and insights from social work theories, social science, human science, humanities and jurisprudence, and uses methodologies to tackle non familiar, complex challenges. Throughout the cyclical process, the bachelor is accessible and tries to relate to the everyday environment of the stakeholders. She/he tries to unite people on micro, meso and macro level.
The Professional Bachelor in Social Work/Personnel Work supports stakeholders in a work context. The primary aim is to support both an organisation and its employees.
