Omschrijving Inhoud
You will learn the basic concepts of visual language. This will give you an insight into which elements within visual communication can convince. Topics include the rhetorical power of images, composition, viewing direction, the importance of cadence, visual techniques, etc.
You will also learn various skills, both aesthetically and technically, to make a quality visual project correctly and to evaluate it properly. You will become proficient in the professional image editing and layout programmes Adobe Photoshop.
And we will challenge you to show off your creativity in a number of assignments.

The learning activities can be organised both on campus and online.
The digital content can be produced using the student's own smartphone.
You are required to prepare thoroughly for the lessons and coaching sessions. You are expected to study the theory and prepare the exercises independently. If you come to class insufficiently prepared, you may be denied access to the classroom until the required preparations are made.
The educational and evaluation organisation will be as indicated on the ECTS sheets, unless measures have to be taken as a result of a pandemic, in which case other forms of education and evaluation will be used.
